Our Pastor
The church's pastor is Rev. Cal Redmond. He has been pastor at the church since late April, 2007. He and his wife Heather were married in 1980. They have three children, ranging from 18 to 22 in age.
Pastor Cal currently lives in Louisville with his family, and comes up to the parsonage on Saturday. He works a full-time job in Louisville for a large company. When Cal comes up on Saturday, he visits in the community, beginning with sick members of the church, on Saturday. Cal stays in the parsonage Saturday nights, leads church services on Sunday morning, and returns home Sunday afternoon or evening.
Pastor Cal has lived in Kentucky for nearly 18 years now. He and his family came to Louisville in 1991 for Cal to get his doctorate in New Testament from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville.
Cal and his wife Heather have felt God's call to ministry and missions for nearly all of their married life together. They served as missionaries in Cameroon, West Africa, from 1988 to 1990, where they taught at Cameroon Baptist Theological Seminary in rural Ndu.
They also served as missionaries in the Philippines from 2000-2003. Cal was Academic Dean and Professor of New Testament at The International School of Theology - Asia, now called The International Graduate School of Leadership. Cal was touched by the commitment and spirituality of the students, many of whom would return to rural areas where Christians are a small, persecuted minority.

Cal is commited to the Bible as the source of the Christian life, brought to life through the Holy in the life of the believer and the preacher. Cal believes in God's faithfulness and goodness, and tries to view the challenges of life through those lenses. For those trying to find a theological bent, Cal is a member of the Evangelical Theological Society, and agrees with the Chicago Statement on Biblical Inerrancy.
Pastor Cal can be reached in Louisville evenings at 502-384-5142, or by e-mail at calred@gmail.com. In Germantown, Cal carries cell phone 859-402-4185; however, phone signal in Germantown is not always strong.
