Welcome to Germantown Baptist Church in Germantown, Kentucky - a small town not far from Maysville in Northeast Kentucky. If you are looking for a church, we hope you'll visit us at Germantown. We have coffee and refreshments before the service, and you can meet the people of the church before or after the services. One or two of our members have been part of the church for more than 80 years - others for around a year. Perhaps you will find you belong, too.
We are a small church, with a long history and a desire to become what God wants us to be for today and years to come. We look ahead with excitement to see what God will do among us.
We believe that worshipping God together, learning together from the Bible, and bringing the Good News of God's love to others are great reasons to be here. We aren't formal or stuffy, and we enjoy being together - but we have a reason to be in church that goes beyond just seeing friends. We think there's something special about the church service - not fancy, not slick, but genuine. We want to experience God during our services, and let Him bring guidance, strength, and comfort to us. And as God changes us, we can become more and more like Him.
Our Sundays begin with Bible Study at 10:00 a.m. The worship service is held at 11:00. On the first Sunday of the month, we have a Sunday evening service held at 6:00 p.m. We usually have communion on the first Sunday morning of the month, and all who believe in Jesus are invited to celebrate the Lord's Supper with us.
